Principal’s Message

Dear Robles Bobcat Families,

As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements and growth we’ve witnessed throughout this academic year. It has been a year of tremendous progress, and I am thrilled to share that many grade levels have seen a remarkable 10% proficiency growth in their benchmarks. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, and supportive families like yours.

I would like to remind all parents to complete the registration process for the next school year through ParentVUE as soon as possible. Your timely registration ensures a smooth start to the new school year and helps us plan effectively.

We have several exciting events coming up in May:

  • May 12 at 9:30 a.m. – We are thrilled to invite you to the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our brand-new Little Lending Library! Stop by and pick out a free book for your child to enjoy. We’re excited to promote reading in our community, and we’d love to see you there!
  • May 14 – Our Bobcats of Excellence Awards Assembly will honor students in grades 1 through 4 for their outstanding efforts and achievements.
  • May 19 – Kindergarten Promotion at 2:30 p.m., and 5th Grade Promotion at 6:00 p.m.
  • May 20 – Pre-Kindergarten Promotion at 9:30 a.m.
  • May 21 – Last Day of School with early release at 1:45 p.m.

We are also excited to offer our Summer STEM Program again this year! This is a great opportunity for students to stay engaged in hands-on learning during the summer months. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up soon!

Finally, as we head into summer break, we encourage all students to keep their skills sharp by reading daily and practicing math facts regularly. A little practice each day can make a big difference when school starts again in the fall.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. It has truly been a fantastic year at Robles Elementary, and we’re so proud of everything our Bobcats have accomplished.

Warm regards,

Dustie Gunn
