Principal’s Message

Dear Robles Bobcat Families,

Welcome to November and a beautiful fall. I am thrilled to share some exciting news with our Robles community—our school has received a state letter grade of B! This achievement reflects the incredible dedication, hard work, and perseverance of both our students and staff. Every day, our Bobcats strive to do their best, and this recognition is a testament to the growth and learning happening throughout our school. To celebrate this accomplishment, we will be planning a special event for our students and staff—we are so proud of all they have achieved!

Upcoming Events:

  • No school on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
  • No school Wednesday, November 27 through Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving break.
  • Veterans Day Luncheon – Tuesday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m.: We are inviting veterans to join us for lunch so we can honor and thank them for their service.
  • Robles School Spelling Bee – Thursday, November 13 at 9:30 a.m.: Families of participating students will be invited to attend and cheer on our competitors.

Fostering a Love of Reading at Home:

Reading is the foundation for academic success, and fostering a love of reading at home helps students grow in confidence and curiosity. Try to set aside time each day to read together, explore books that interest your child, and discuss stories to build comprehension and critical thinking. Let your child see you reading, visit your local library together, and celebrate the joy of discovering new stories. Small, consistent steps at home make a big difference in your child’s growth as a reader!

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. I am so proud of the Bobcats for their achievements, and I look forward to celebrating our continued successes with you this school year!

Warm regards,

Dustie Gunn
