Principal’s Message

Dear Robles Bobcat Families,

As we enter the final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. It has been an incredible year of growth, and we are so proud of the hard work our students and staff have shown.

Even as we approach the end of the year, learning is still going strong in every classroom. Our teachers continue to provide meaningful instruction, and students are actively building important skills each day. Because of this, daily attendance remains critically important. Every day of instruction counts, and being present helps ensure that students stay on track and finish the year successfully.

As a reminder, since teaching and learning are still taking place daily, we ask that toys remain at home. We have recently seen an increase in toys being brought to school, which can be distracting and may interfere with the learning environment. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused and safe school setting.

We are also excited to begin preparing for one of our favorite end-of-year events—field day! This is a PBIS celebration for our students. Please note that students with discipline referrals or outstanding fees will not be eligible to participate. A flyer with additional details will be coming home soon, so please keep an eye out.

Let’s continue to work together to finish the year strong. Encouraging your child to stay engaged, attend school regularly, and give their best effort each day makes a tremendous difference.

Upcoming May Events:

  • May 8: 5th Grade Field Trip to Altar Valley Middle School
  • May 18: Senior Graduation Walk at Robles – 1:30 p.m.
  • May 18: 5th Grade Promotion – 2:45 p.m.
  • May 19: Kindergarten Promotion – 9:00 a.m.
  • May 19: Pre-K Promotion – 10:00 a.m.
  • May 20: Last Day of School

Additionally, Summer STEM Camp registration packets have been sent home. If you have not yet reviewed one or need another copy, please contact your child’s teacher, and we will be happy to send one home again. This is a great opportunity for students to continue learning and exploring over the summer.

Thank you again for being such an important part of our Robles community. We look forward to a strong and successful finish to the school year!

Sincerely,

Dustie Gunn
